Gender-Neutral Bedroom in Soft Tones and Modern Detailing – This bedroom project, by Nikitina design, is a perfect example of how to create a gender-neutral bedroom without compromising on youthfulness and creativity.
Whether you have a young brother and sister sharing a bedroom, have a child who prefers a gender-neutral bedroom theme, or simply want to avoid the stereotypical “blue for boys, pink for girls” decorating tradition, there are lots of ways to decorate a neutral bedroom that any boy or girl would love.
On this project, the designer decided to go with a neutral palette, composed of coffee-infused tones and milky details, contrasting with a natural wooden floor. The upholstered bed was ingeniously placed within a nook created by a dividing wall in the middle of the room, which at the same time saves up space and divides the areas with specific ends.
On this side of the room, we have two huge highlights. On is the seating nook dug on the wall. This corner creates the perfect spot for the child to hang out in the room, providing a sense of safety and comfort like no other piece of furniture would give. The other is the oblong mirror. Like our Bubble Gum Big Mirror, this unique piece adds a touch of contemporary lines to the design, while keeping it clean and modern.
