Harley-Davidson Launches Electric Balance Bike for Kids\u00a0\u21d2<\/strong><\/span><\/em> Harley Davidson has been striving recently to become one of the market\u2019s go-to places to get an electric bike. Earlier this year, the American builder introduced the all-new Livewire electric bike, but it would seem that they are not yet satisfied. In order to target a younger generation<\/a><\/strong> of motorheads, Harley-Davidson just announced the creation of an electric balance bike for kids<\/a><\/strong>. With this effort, the American manufacturer hopes that, in the future, when this generation thinks about electric bikes, the name Harley-Davidson is the first thing that pops into their minds.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Harley-Davidson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0electric balance bikes are equipped with lithium-ion batteries.\u00a0users can extend the ride time wist a push-button quick release that allows them to change them. The batteries come fully equipped with 20Vmax voltage (18Vnom) and 2Ah, allowing riders to hit the road for 30-60 minutes, while the charge time is from 30-60 minutes for a full charge depending on the model.<\/p>\n

The ultra-low, adjustable seat height inspires riding confidence by allowing the rider\u2019s feet to be firmly planted on the ground as well as\u00a0put their feet on the ground easily when off balance.\u00a0With a total bike weight ranging from 17lbs (IRONe12) to 19lbs (IRONe16), the child can quickly build confidence and skill by having the ability to pick up the bike themselves. The aluminium TIG welded frame and steel BMX-style fork allow for a safe ride.<\/p>\n

Once the kid becomes more comfortable and confident with the electric balance bike, the tapered footrests may deflect their legs away from the blunt impact in the event of a tip-over. As for selection modes, both models offer three power ones: training, standard, and advances. The training one top of at 5mph (8.05 km\/h), the standard one ranges from 7mph (11.27 km\/h) and the advanced ranges from 9mph (14.48 km\/h).<\/p>\n
