China has come a long way in terms of children\u2019s infrastructures<\/a><\/strong>, becoming a beacon for kids design and architecture. And the new Lolly-Laputan Restaurant, in Dalian, is the perfect example of that.<\/p>\n

The brand new cafe opened to the public on the 28th of May in Dalian, China. The brand is mutually owned by PACEE Education and Fairyland so that there will be shared resources from PACEE that the client wishes kids can enjoy learning with entertainment<\/a><\/strong>. This cafe will be the first educational family restaurant in China.<\/p>\n

The exterior fa\u00e7ade of the restaurant is made of aluminium panels with punctures of various sizes on it to create an effect of ripples woven together. Behind these ripples, a world between reality and dreams is created for kids.<\/p>\n

The front lobby is a circular space surrounded by a forest of lights, which is composed of 1000 acrylic tubes that are able to simulate the effect of sunlight shining through thick layers of leaves to provide a unique forest experience, with the reflection of the mirrored wall.<\/p>\n
